Our online and mobile banking platform allows you to transfer money from your MidSouth Bank account to external accounts at other financial institutions.
You will need your external account routing number and checking or savings account number to add or manage external accounts from the Midsouth Bank online banking navigation menu. Simply click Transfers & Payments and then click Manage External Accounts.
Once you connect your external account, we will make two small deposits to that account. The deposits will appear within three business days, upon which you will need to verify the two amounts within your MidSouth Bank online banking or the mobile banking app. This process confirms your ownership of the external account and ensures future transfers process correctly. After verification, the external account appears in your list of transfer to accounts.
Transfers take less than three business days to become available funds and there are limits on the amount of money you can transfer. You are unable to transfer money from your external accounts to your MidSouth Bank accounts.
